TRUE BALKAN RAKIJA

YOUNG AND
POWERFUL

BELA is made from a 50-50 blend of two types of indigenous plums, and stored in stainless steel. With an abv of 40%, it is a clean, floral beverage, and gentle on the palate. Though abundant with fruit, it is also pleasantly dry and ridiculously easy to drink. Bela is reminiscent of slivovitz from more Northern European neighbors like Hungary, Slovakia, and the Czech Republic, but with a distinctive nose and taste.

Yebiga Prva

TASTE COMES
WITH AGING

PRVA comes from a single variety of local plum (čačanska rodna), barrel aged for a minimum of 18 months in Serbian oak (harvested from the same mountain as the fruit). The result is a golden hue and delicate notes of plum, vanilla, honey and blackcurrant.

WHAT IS RAKIJA?

In the Balkans, rakija is everywhere. It is a very distinctive eau de vie that comes straight from the farm, and is the centerpiece of any wedding and funeral, or just a way to bring people together. Dating back centuries, and perfected through generations, it is completely unique and, when crafted properly, rivals any world class spirit.

YEBIGA RAKIJA

Serious handcrafted spirits from family stills, proudly served for generations – this is Yebiga rakija.

This is traditional rakija in the best sense of the word – no additives, no chemicals, no industrial artifacts, and crafted with a level of sophistication that can only come through generations of family distillation. We employ a strictly traditional process that goes back over a century, cutting no corners which could hinder the full, soulful expression of the fruit— in fact, the only ingredients we use are hyperlocal plums and pure spring water. You can almost taste the skin and smell the leaves, as it transports you back to this little farm in the mountains near Kraljevo.
